777 Oil Co., LLC is a privatley-held exploration and production company that focuses on growing and maintaining its assets operations, non-operating, mineral and royalty positions throughout strategic, high performing basins across the United States.

777 Oil Co., LLC began as an E&P company owned by Johnny (Bud) Vinson II in the mid 1980's. Mr. Vinson is also President of Threshold Development Company, LLC (1988-Present). Threshold Development Company was started by Bud's father, Johnny Vinson in 1972. After a 20 year career with Mitchell Energy, Mr. Johnny Vinson formed his own E&P company located in his hometown of Bridgeport, TX. The father-son duo began acquiring numerous E&P companies growing Thresholds assets throughout the following decades. Johnny Vinson is known for his many accomplishments at Threshold Development, along with serving as the Chairman of the Board for Arch Petroleum, Inc. (ARCH) from 1988 to 1998. In 1998, Mr. Vinson and other board members agreed to sell Arch Petroleum, Inc. to the Canadian based, Pogo Producing, Co. 

Bud Vinson started up 777 Oil Co., LLC as his main E&P company in the spring of 2012. The difference in 777 Oil Co. and other oil and gas related companies today is their genuine personalities stemming from small town roots. 777 Oil Co. is proud to be a multi-generational, family owned corporation that strives to uphold the work ethic and character of those who have laid the foundation for what we have become today.
